Prof., Ahmad Zuhairi Abdullah is a distinguished researcher and academic leader with an impressive track record in chemistry-related areas. He earned his B. Tech (Hons), MSc, and PhD in 1995, 2000, and 2004, respectively. His leadership roles at Universiti Sains Malaysia include serving as Deputy Dean (Industry and Community Network) from 2010 to 2012, Deputy Dean (Research and Postgraduate Studies) from 2013 to 2018, and subsequently, Dean (2022-2024), and was a university senate member (2016-2024). Recognized for his expertise, he holds professional affiliations as a Professional Technologist with the Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT), a Fellow of Akademi Sains Malaysia and Institut Kimia Malaysia (IKM), and a Life Member of the Malaysian Oil Scientists and Technologists’ Association (MOSTA). His research primarily focuses on ordered porous catalytic materials for oleochemical reactions, renewable energy, waste treatment, and waste valorization. With an outstanding scholarly contribution, he has authored nearly 300 refereed journal articles and book chapters, primarily as the lead author, and has played a crucial role as a technical committee member for nearly 200 international scientific conferences worldwide. His exceptional research contributions have earned him the Top Research Scientists Malaysia (TRSM) award in 2014 and a prestigious ranking in the List of the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University (2020-2025). With an h-index of 68 and over 15,000 citations (Scopus), his significant impact on the global research community, particularly in areas related to chemical technologies, is clearly acknowledged. |

| Fateh Mebarek-Oudina completed his PhD in 2010 and has since established himself as a prolific researcher with over 170 published papers in esteemed international journals and numerous indexed books to his credit. Presently serving as a distinguished full professor at Skikda University in Algeria, he also holds the prestigious designation of being a renowned reviewer for over 300 international journals. Recognized for his exceptional contributions to the field, Prof. Dr. Mebarek-Oudina has been consistently listed among the Top 2% Scientists Worldwide by Stanford University for the years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. His research endeavors are centered on a diverse range of topics, including heat and mass transfer, MHD, mathematical simulation and modeling, biofluids, nanofluids, hybrid nanofluids, ternary nanofluids, microfluidics, and computational fluid dynamics. |

She is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at Northeast Agricultural University. Her main research areas include agricultural soil and water remediation, agricultural waste treatment and resource utilization, bio-electrochemical technologies, biomass energy, and advanced oxidation technologies. She has published more than 70 SCI-indexed papers, applied for or been granted over 20 national invention patents, and serves as an editorial board member for the journal Water and as a thematic editor for Energies. |

| Hong-Yu Ren is the associate professor and doctoral supervisor in School of Environment, Harbin Institute of Technology. He received his BS, MD and PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China. After his PhD, he performed postdoctoral studies at the Harbin Institute of Technology, and visiting scholar studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research interests mainly include algae biofuels and high-value products, anaerobic fermentation/digestion, energy and resource recovery, biological treatment processes, sludge treatment and advanced oxidation process. He has published more than 80 research papers in international referred journals. He served as an editorial board member for Water, and was the Guest Editor for Water and Energies. He was awarded the Most Valued Reviewers in Bioresource Technology and Outstanding Reviewer in China Environmental Science, Energy Conversion and Management, Bioresource Technology, Renewable Energy. |

| Zhonghua Liu is Postdoctoral Fellow, Senior Experimentalist, Doctoral Supervisor. He is currently Secretary of the Party Branch and Deputy Director of the National Demonstration Center for Experimental Petroleum and Natural Gas Education at Chongqing University of Science and Technology, and Member of the Expert Committee of the China Energy Society. He also serves as a reviewer for several SCI journals including Geoenergy Science and Engineering and Energy & Fuels. His main research focuses on the theory and experimental technology of stimulation for unconventional oil and gas fields. He has conducted a one-year academic visit to the Department of Petroleum Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology in the United States. He has presided over 5 provincial and ministerial-level vertical projects, and presided over or participated as a core researcher in more than 20 horizontal projects with oilfields. He has published over 20 SCI papers, obtained 15 authorized invention patents, and won 1 Second-Class Prize for Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress. |
